Emotions running riot over the weekend. Poor hubby got both barrels with knobs on!!! I guess now that I start chemo on Friday it is all sinking in just how much of a fight I will have on my hands and hubby cant ‘fix’ me ARGHHHHHHHHHH why not – he has always fixed things right in the past.

Simply think of all the 'nasty' jobs you would rather not do.... cleaning out the cat-litter tray...? Scrubbing the oven...? Polishing the hob...? Descaling the loo...? Quite a good excuse for avoiding all the chores! Go girl!
just wanted to wish you luck for your treatment, my hubby couldn't fix things, so sometimes pretends things are not happening, I keep telling him he's an 'ostrich', he says he cant do right for doing wrong, we always take things out of the people we love most, and because they love us they put up with it!
take care............. what about the ironing, I hate that!!
Sorry I haven't got back to you .... lots going on???? The term 'ostrich' is a very apt description of hubby, and like you say,.. it aint going away. But in all fairness hubby is great around the house and garden but however IRONING.... on the rare occassion (notice I said occassion!) that he has attempted, it took me longer to re-do that doing it in the1st place!!!!! I suppose practice makes perfect.... so lets crack on!
