last night i shaved my head and i feel OK about it, but my husband has been really off with me.
i feel i can't show him my bald head so wore a hat to bed last night what can i do to make it easy on him.

hi grace, i was worried when i shaved my hair off about hwat people would say, i havent shaved it so its completely bald tho,i shaved it to a number four, most people say it suited me, and my partner loves it... but saying that, he really doesnt want my hair to fall out completely, and i said to him well its going to happen anyway as much as i dont want it to...
i got him to come shopping with me to buy hats and scarves and he really enjoyed it, it lightened the mood...
its hard for anybody to see me with a bald head, i hadnt seen my dad all year, and then he came to see me, like he said to me, youve not changed in a person, just becasue youre image has changed ,youre still you... wich made me smile... and hair will grow back.. =)
It can be a shock at first but he'll get used to it. Hope that doesn't sound hard - it's not meant to. You need to do what's right for you and what makes you comfortable - bald, hats, scarves whatever.
My poor husband went out to buy a morning paper and came home to find me bald as a coot and yes he did find it hard at first. had a lovely wig, but only wore it a couple of times. Through the winter months I wore a woolly hat and then decided to bare all as it got warmer ( well not bare ALL just my head) It was hard letting people see me without a hat but once I girded my loins it was fine. I even went to governor meetings at school without headwear. We all need to do what is best for us.
I suppose at this stage I ought to do the usual public service announcement about exposed skin and melanoma - but in the middle of winter its probably not much of an issue!
