gp's ggrrrrr !!!!

Less than one minute read time.

afternoon all , been to my gp as after suffering for about 2 years with pain in my lower spine and hip bones the pain is now spreading and getting worse i now get pain in my shins and the front of my collarbone.gp did bloods ca125 and was normal , inflamatory blood test which was normal and  fbc which showed nothing so hes sending me for physio. After having hysterectomy 7 yrs ago for ovarian cancer u can imagine i was worried when the gp said he would do ca125 in case it was secondary bone cancer but as that was normal he seems to have given in.i asked wot he thought was causing the pain and he shrugged his shoulders and said i dunno. has anyone had any similar experiences ??????????? or anyone had this same bone pain ??????

sorry to whinge again haha and i shudnt let this get me down but i cant help it

hugs to all x dawn

Hi I have bone/joint/ tendon/ muscle pain. GP calls it Poly Arthralgia which translates to 'pain in many joints'. I keep having the blood tests etc and nothing shows, just a trace of some unknown infection or inflamation. I suppose it is some sort of arthritis but there are over 100 different types. All I know is IT HURTS !!

These things are sent to try us ..............

hi Bill , yep it does hurt but he says i have nothing showing in bloods for arthiritis and i am only 38 haha,he was the one that was worrying about checking my ca125 but then when he found that hadnt increased he seemed to dismiss me totally,i shudnt be surprised it took many visits and 8 mths for him to send me for a scan the first time round,i just think thats one of the reasons people dont go to their gp.

hope things dont try u too much

hi dawn.i too had a hysterectomy in 2009 after being diagnosed with stage 1B1 C.C...i also have collar-bone achy pains & the same sort of pains in my groin,i had a C.T. scan & it showed nothing...i do panic incase it's secondary cancer..but all the while nothing shows up,I just carry on and put it down to creaky 'old age' bones lol...
