Yesterday was a good day until the evening. Our son came and helped with jobs in the garden that take a lot of lifting and bending. I did the light jobs and the foreman bit. The sun shone and all seemed rosy until our son left. Then my wife had a very severe pain in her right hand that had her crying out and unable to do anything. I had to be her carer for everything, meal, washing, and to bed. We had no idea how to stop her pain but with pills and her favourite drink she finally fell asleep. I found the out-of-hours doctors' number in case we had to call them. I slept in a chair downstairs as I couldn't settle in any position in bed due to my leg pains.
Wife is better today but not using her right hand much. I've worked out that paracetamol tabs can make my night difficulty in PU much worse and more painful with the straining. Yesterday I took none and was much better but I had haematuria. Will get a message to the docs about this. Does anyone else know if paracetamol can tighten up the urine flow in this way? Still waiting for the CT scan which will be end of next week I believe.
Today I'm so tired. If my PSA doesn't come down again I suppose I'm on the downward path with stronger drugs/chemo to face and the inevitable decline. Ughhh.
