Hi all
The latest news is mum is due to go back into hospital again. This is for the infection that she has on the bone flap that got put back in place back in Nov 09 after her last brain tumour operation. The Neurosurgeon has said that he wants to treat the infection quickly as if mum's Urologist wants to give her any Chemo then already having an infection would make mum's situation 10 times worse. So she goes back to North Staffs in the next couple of weeks to have the flap removed and further investigation on how to combat the infection. She then may have a plate put in or a part plate/part bone put in?
What is going to happen regarding any further tests/scan's for cancer is anyone's guess?? Hopefully somehow both the Neurosurgeon and the Urologist will work something out?
