SAD NEWS

Less than one minute read time.

I am sorry to say our dear friend Sharry passed away peacefully in her sleep this morning at 8.15 am.  It  was very sudden as only last week she complained of being really tired.  I met her on here originally and then personally at Cath's garden party a couple of summers ago.  From that time we became "ladies wot lunch" every week and I shall miss her so much, as I know some of you will who had the pleasure of meeting her also.  She was definitely one of lifes troupers and so unlike me, as she never ever complained about her illness.  She will be sadly missed by her family and all of her friends.  Bye bye Sharry see u lata m8.

    Dear D,

Such sad news indeed.  I also had the pleasure of meeting Sharry at the Leicester Fiesta three summers ago.  She really was a lovely lady, who had to go through so much, but always without complaint.  My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends.

    So long, Sharry.

I was unfortunate not to have met this lovely lady. But to Her Family and Friends I send my deepest sympathy.

    R.I.P. Sharry.

  • I'm so sad to hear this news. I was privileged to get to know Sharry in the 'What Now?' site and we co-hosted the 'Booze-Up in Banstead'. We also met up occasionally for lunch and long chats.

She was a spirited and strong lady and did her best to grab life by the throat and make the most of every moment.

I met Sharry at the Leicester Fiesta with her husband, and I'm really shocked to hear the news.  Her husband and family are in my thoughts.
