So 2 days into her treatment, we had to take mum back to hospital, she had what we think was a seizure and was suffering from urine infections, so they put her on more drugs and kept her in for a few days...
Now she is on day 5 of treatment, and all she wants to do is sleep, its not easy, I am trying to wake her up every now and then for a drink, and trying to get her to eat is just as hard as she just cant seem to keep her eyes open :(
Theres no guidelines on this, as everyone is so different, it just doesn't seem fair to me! Even the staff at the hospital don't seem to understand the extent of this type of Cancer, many times we went in and they told us they couldn't wake her for dinner, so what were their plans? Were they just not going to feed her? I understand they are busy, understaffed, and working long shifts dealing with a lot of patients, but I cant help it, its my mum, and I know they'd be the same if it was their mum.
Seeing my mum like this is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever been through, I've been to Iraq and seen a lot of horrible things, but that has nothing on this, if I could trade anything to have my mum back I would.
