16th May - Today i got a call back from Doc Ali saying there was nothing more to tell me than what he had already told and that basically the only thing they know for sure is i have cancer but there is a question over my staging......he said the histology report had showed the cancer and that it was at LEAST a stage 1B when before thats exactly what i was told it was. So i went to ask on if the results from my pet scan had come through then for them to question it now? turns out that after Dr Ali taking me through everything, being the one to brake the news and trying to help rush me in before hand has had me taken off his hands and moved to aberdeen specialist instead........
..........i understand why, but would have liked to have been able to keep seeing him as he knows me and my family already and quite frankly i have broke down infront of him plenty already so knows what to expect from me lol. plus Aberdeen is a fair journey for me and my partner to keep traveling too for appointments, tests and treatments.
The bonus of my convo with the Dr is he called me back a while later saying he had spoke to someone from my team...........who ever they are............and they told him that i have to have a MRI before i get all my results from these tests....what can a MRI see that a PET scan cant??? and to top my day off i have bloody shingles as if i needed anything else! lol
Anyway on a lighter note its my eldests birthday tomorrow, shes going to be 11 :) i've made a home made cake and decorated it myself (personally not so sure but im chuffed for a first go) and planned a nice full day.............fingers crossed i dont get any calls to spoil things, even if i do im not going to let it!!!
