no obligation but please do so if you want to. shall check regularly to see if anythings come up.

cannot promise to find solutions or give advice but can be a listening ear.  thanks.

Hi just thought i'd say hello as things are a bit rubbish this morning after losing my mum in law to liver cancer during the night. Although we knew the end was near I feel as thoughI am standing in quicksand and can't get out. Liz was very brave and battled for 3 years undergoing various treatments, but in the end they stoped everything 8 weeks ago. Two weeks ago she was taken to a hospice for 'building up' but driffed in and out of sleep for the last 2 days of life. Although she was sedated and had pain killers there moments of conciousness where she begged for us to help her. This is tearing me appart as we could do nothing. I can't bear the thought that she may have been frighteed. Thanks for listening. Magpie x

    Hi Maggie,

Please don't beat yourself up. There are often situations where we can do nothing and have to leave it to the professionals. I'm sure your mum in law was in the best place for pain control which is a very special skill which hospices are very good at.

Your mum in law sounds as though she was a great fighter.

There is a "Bereavement" group and if you post there I am sure you will get support from people going through the same emotions as you.

    Big hugs,

    Colin xxx

I have been informed by my doc that the diabetes is nearly gone - have controlled it with medics, diet ad exercise. Delivering Macs flyers etc keep me healthy as I love to walk - thatnks for the job!
