Home at last

Less than one minute read time.

We brought pop home tonight and it was worth all the hard work just to see that beautiful smile on his face. The doctor told us that he doesnt think he has much time but im sure with good care and lots of love we can keep him for alittle longer.

Im feeling alittle weepy tonight and dont really know what to do with myself but i think its just the stress of today and tommorow ill be back and fighting.

Thanks for all the earlier comments it really warms my heart to know that i can come on here and get good advice and lots of comfort. Ive met some pretty amazing people on here who although are going through some tough times themselves still find the time to write to me and i will never be able to thank you all enough.  I cant tell you all how much you have really helped me through this difficult time i will always be eternally grateful.

I would just like to wish you all good health and happiness hope and 2011 brings you everything you all deserve.

A BIG THANKYOU

Nicola xx

    Hi Nicolaxx

I am so glad that you have been able to bring your pop home xx

I think that it is pretty normal to feel emotional and a bit aprehensive about what lies ahead, but try not to be too hard on yourself. You are doing a wonderful job, and, as you say, tomorrow is another day so you will face it with renewed strength.

Treasure every momnet that you can with your pop, tuck each little moment into your heart and they willbe there to  hug you tight when you need them the most. Remember that love and memories can be carried with you always. xx

Thinking of you, with love, Sharon

    Hi Nicola,

Yay fantastic, made me well up when you described pop's smile. You are right hon he may well pick up a bit being in his own environment. Just do not forget to use those support networks and take care of yourself too. This sight is amazing and I have always found support, we are here hon. Enjoy your time spoil him and yourself too.
