One Small Step

Less than one minute read time.
One small step for Man a giant step for Me Well i have done it Folks first Day back at work today and i can say its been a bit surreal from people walking around me as if they are treading on egg shells and i have aquired the ability to make a room fall silent on entry i am not sure if this is because they were talking about me or if they are suprised to see me, I am not sure yet. But what i can say is once i got my truck loaded and out onto the A1 I had a smile on my face from ear to ear and i even managed to sing along to the odd song on the radio a Far cry from six months ago when i was driving around with wells of tears in my eyes wondering what was going to happen to me next I know its probably only a high point on this ride we are all on but boy am i enjoying it at the moment. I will let you know how the week goes. But for now from a very tired member all the best and keep up the fight. Eric

wonder how long it´ll be before you are moaning about work !!! now thats normal

Well done on getting they company car back onto the A1 Eric, don't worry about work mates they'll not know what to say to you or wether they dare ask if your ok.

If I'd known what radio station you listen to I could have had them play the Monty Python song, by the way I have that as my ring tone ;-)  Hope all goes well.

I went back for the last few weeks of the term in June. The thing I did not care for was the feeling of being wrapped in cotton wool, asking if I waseveryone  managing alright when i just wanted to get on with it! It did fade over the weeks though.
