I never imagined it would be so complicated. I thought they would just remove the breast and that would be that. My brain is spinning after this chat with the breast care nurse. She said I would be in overnight and would come out with a drain in place. She gave me a lovely little bag to keep the tube in so it wouldn’t ge caught in anything and a heart shaped cushion to support my arm. My exercises are forever now and I can never have anything done to my left arm - no injections, blood pressure or anything. I even have a card to present if needed. There is a pre Op assessment next week that will take two hours!
