Hi, not been on here since September since they changed the website. My password no longer worked and I couldn't get access.

My Dad's AML returned in March. Just wasn't feeling great. Had a bad cough and his ears were blocked, and he went deaf. A quick blood test showed it was back after 9 months remission. He has now has further chemo and is back in remission, but has been told that his remissions will get shorter…

Dad had another monthly check up at the Beatson. His bloods are still clear. Yey! He is looking and feeling great. Happy days.

Hi, Just off the phone with my Dad. He found out from his Docs today that he is in remission after his first round of chemo! Truly fantastic news, it's lifted the dark cloud that's been lurking over us all since he was diagnosed on the 24th March. We know he still has a long road ahead of him, but at least we know now that the treatment is doing what it's supposed to. He is day 3 into his second cycle and is finding it…
