Overnight I seemed to have made significant progress! Last night I went out for some drinks with a very close friend and we just reminisced and laughed the night away. I genuinely can't remember the last time I enjoyed myself like that and didn't come home wanting to go to go to sleep and never wake up again! To continue the good spirits, I've had a big fat smile on my face allllll day, whilst catching up with some friends.
Its silly to think I never thought I'd feel happy or be able to laugh again after the last month or so, but I am starting to learn to take a day at a time, understanding that some are going to be harder than others.
I have SO many beautiful friends to thank, who keep reassuring me that they'll be there holding my hand through the good times and the not so good times. They are just incredible. I have to also thank Becky (if you read this), you have been a diamond over the past couple of weeks!
My mum is off to the spa at the weekend to be pampered and in the hands of my wonderful dad and brother. She's been so bright today, talking about going away to celebrate her 50th coming up next year. I feel like I can relax on my holiday and have a bit of me time. Taking on my guilty pleasure's advice and living while we're young (One Direction!)!
Thinking of you all, lots of love,
Bethany x
