What a couple of months it has been.. with happy and sad memories.
On October 16th we were called to Birmingham to see my Grandad who had taken a turn for the worst. On 17th oct, my Grandad sadly passed away.
We then celebrated my brothers 21st birthday, I went away for a few days to get away from everything, which was much needed.
Awaiting my mothers CT scan results to see if she was okay to continue treatment, we celebrated my nans 80th birthday.
Then it was the funeral and in the same week my mums scan results came back inconclusive and treatment has been stopped. Mum has pneumonitis and we are waiting for a repeat CT to see the progress of the cancer and the next available treatment..
I probably should be writing up my uni assignement now, which is due in on thurs, but my concentration is lacking.
Mum has been amazing, the way shes dealt with her dads death on top of everything which is happening to her. But now its time to focus 100% on mum, to try and get her through this.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
