MRI Day
So off we set at 7.30am to try and find King George Hospital in Goodmayes. We had a really good run and arrived to find an almost empty patient carpark......yes, you did hear me right.......lots of parking spaces!!!
Went inside and looked for the reception/information area - ermmmm not one (quietly I am already thinking, its not like Queens is it). Find the map on the wall and start looking for the MRI department…

Saturday 31st July
Woke to 'persisting rain' bugger! We left home around 9.30am after giving the kids copious amounts of advice and reminders, none of which they would have cared for or remembered (which was confirmed when we got home!). Hit a little traffic along the M25 but whats new! The clouds had a least started to break up a little. We decided to grab breakfast at McDonalds.......NOT my favourite place…
Having a bit of a wobble
Well Buttercup and I have been co-existing quite well for some time and apart from the 'sparse spot' where my hair once was and the fact I have a memory like Dorey from Finding Nemo, we get along just fine. Now as many of you know, I will have to have MRI's every 3-6 months for the rest of my life and even after a few, it doesn't get any easier!
