Well its been a while since i've posted because i've been recovering first in hospital and then at home.
My op was Tuesday 15th Sept i was sent down around 9:30 at the Royal Marsden in London where the anethisists checked me out and fitted an epidural with my help, then i woke up 2 hours later minus my tumour.
The two surgeon Barnaby Smith and Professor Thomas removed a 3.6kg dumbell shaped tumour from my pelivs.
Fist day/nite in hospital was constant obs so i had little sleep thereafter it was okay fist the epidural was removed and then the PCA morphine was taken out.
I was discharged feeling okay Saturday 19th Sept.
Since then i've had numbness and pain in my left lower back which my GP thinks is nothing to be concerned about.
I'm due to go back to discuss the results from the lab in a couple of days, i'll post back the news.
