Unfortunately my GP and consultant think that i have had a hematoma which is why i have pain in my bum. It could go away by itself, or i might need another op. :( i should know more next Thursday 1st Oct when i go back to London

Well its been a while since i've posted because i've been recovering first in hospital and then at home.

My op was Tuesday 15th Sept i was sent down around 9:30 at the Royal Marsden in London where the anethisists checked me out and fitted an epidural with my help, then i woke up 2 hours later minus my tumour.

The two surgeon Barnaby Smith and Professor Thomas removed a 3.6kg dumbell shaped tumour from my pelivs…

Got back from London yesterday afternoon, traffic was pretty clear. The procedure i had on Monday was an angiogram to check if i needed to have an embilisation done on the arteries in the right of my pelvis (that is - if the tumor had connected up with the right side or not). Today was a good day - I ate a loverly Wetherspoons Fry up. The sun was shining for a change. And my lovely wife had organised a match ticket. Wigan v Man Utd. It was a brilliant game, matched by the atmosphere of the fans, singing all through the game. Had a good day today - spent a fun morning at Acorn Animal Farm in Knowsley near Liverpool. Chased up my Mac grant today, i should have the paperwork through on Monday i hope i get it approved to help pay for Sarah's accomodation whilst im in hospital. Pain was a bit worse today had to take a bit extra Oramorph then previously, although the Mac nurse said i'm having hardly any at the moment so i guess thats good to…
