    MACLAND - THE ONLY PLACE YOU CANT BUY A BURGER - But by god you get so much more and its free !

    My life has changed for the better, and I am apprehensive about returning to work tomorrow, although it is on reduced hours.  I have been sat in bubble for so long, protected and trying to heal my wounds and sort my head out from the shock of having cancer.

    I  joined back in August when I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer…

    Well I found out I had cancer and couldnt sleep, came down staairs logged onto computer to find some information on my condition.  As i logged onto Google, in the google logo the wizard of oz picture was inset in the logo, it has always been a special film of mine,  but i sat in the dark, 2 am and thought what am i going to do, am i going to die, i have to fight it.  

    Where can i get the strength, thought I needed to go…

    Well back to hospital yesterday for a cystogram on my bladder, staff in xray remembered me from October, must be my charm (maybe not) just the bladder !!  Well I laid down on that slim bed trying not to show my bum to the staff, those hospital gowns give you no dignity, left me knickers on thinking they can xray through that, but no had to have them taken off by a nurse, glad it wasnt a male nurse lol !!!

    Well went in 13th, into theatre admissions, got my gown on, my sexy socks, weighed and interrogated with lots of questions, then the specialist come to see me at 8.50, was having a chat, answering questions i had, then a nice young nurse brought in a laminated slip saying NO BEDS AVAILABLE, PLEASE CHECK WITH WARD BEFORE OPERATION COMMENCES !   Whoops he blew a stack and I was sat opposite the nurses station and heard it…
