On a lighter note

Less than one minute read time.

Ok so my first blog was rather negative. Apologies for the rants of an unstable woman who is trying to deal with the possibility that she has cancer.

I never realised how your life can change so drastically with the mention of one word. Although I should as my dad died of lung cancer and my mum had breast cancer last year - but she is fine and all clear now.

I have gotten through the day by listening to radio 4 - never ever listened to it before - I was always a Radio 1 girl in my youth - (I'll never listen to anything else) but of course radio 2 is now the new Radio 1 for me. However, I have found that radio 4 with all the talk helps to block out the constant thoughts in my head. Am I getting middle-aged?

Hi Daisybun, you never have to apologise on here. This site is here for us all to say whatever we want and is a place to offload when need be.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad and glad that your mum is doing well.

As for being middle-aged. Well, I guess I am too. As long as I stay middle-aged I'll be fine, just don't want to get old lol. Now, I was also a Radio 1 girl in my youth (just a couple of years ago), but found I had to move to Radio because, and this is the only reason, the Radio 1  DJs now play on Radio 2. I'm sure that's the same reason with you. What else could it possibly be?????

I hope your test results are favourable.

I will keep an eye open to see how you get on.

    Best wishes, Christine xx
