    Yesterday I took my partner to Singleton Hospital, in Swansea, so that she could receive radio-therapy to help ease the severe pain in her back. She was barely conscious during the 5 hours that we were there because of all the morphine I had administered in an attempt to ease the pain.     I took my partner to hospital this morning for a bronchoscopy, and had what we think is a little good news: the camera picked up "No abnormality" and "Normal endobronchial tree throughout". A further bronchoscopy is likely but for now that bit of positive news has helped my partner considerably. I just wish that she wasn't so tired all the time so that she could be taken out to do some shopping or anything to get out…

    It's off to the hospital for my partner's biopsy at 8:45. Then a 7 -10 day wait for the results. So now it all begins.

    Apart from a two hours during the night my partner remains pain free for the first time in months

    My ex-wife was diagnosed with lung cancer on Monday, she is coming home from hospital this afternoon and I have moved back to what was the matrimonial home to become her full time carer.

    I know that sooner or later I will be in need of help in dealing with my ex and also dealing with my own problems as her condition worstens.
