Today is ward round day so my partner should be seeing his consultant to find out whether he is going to start the Stem Cell Transplant process. Very fortunately, my partner's sister is a perfect match however she will need to take drugs to get her ready to donate so we are all on tenterhooks. Crucially it depends on whether he is now in remission (crossing everything, hope so!).
