Another day we thought she wouldn't see. Today is one of her grandchildren's birthday and normally she would of rung to say Happy Birthday. He did see her on Friday and told her if she needed to go he understood. She didn't need to go and is still with us.
Dad had a bad day yesterday. he kept losing his balance when he stood up and getting confused about stuff. He went out in the cold with no coat on and his slippers on. No one even heard him leave. My sister found him at the bottom of the street.
He said he didn't need us to stay last night and we all really thought we would get a phone call during the night to say they had gone together.
