Thanx...and family day!

1 minute read time.
First of all I want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who sent such kind messages on the news that my dad is now in remission..I have been very touched by peoples kind thoughts, so thank you very much! Dad is still doing very well. Yesterday we had a lovely family day together - both my brother and I and respective partners and children went over to wear him out for the day! The sun truly was shining and we spent a lovely time out in the garden. Dad says he is starting to feel a little more energetic as time goes on and that the tiredness seems to be lifting. It was lovely to see him looking better again fom when I saw him last time amd I'm sure that not a little of that is down to the relief of the news of remission and the cloud that that has now lifted. We were chatting and think we would like to give something back to the hospital for the fantastic care that he has had so far and are thinking of buying some wooden garden furniture ans they have a lovely little garden/seating area for the cancer patients to use but it has some rather tired looking plastic furniture. And after seeing the difference a bit of sun and fresh air can make when you are stuck in a hospital room for long periods we think this would be well used and obviously something that would not be too high up on the shopping list when their limited budgets are being allocated!
