Just heard from dad that the hospital has been closed to visitors from 4pm today due to a sickness bug!! That's sods law, as I was hoping to visit dad and take the children to see their grandad. It might re-open tomorrow, so here's hoping. I do appreciate that it is a necessary precaution (especially for the people in dad's part of the hospital) - just a bit of a bugger!! (s'cuse my french!)
Good news is that dad doing great..sounds very chipper and says he's feeling well. He's had some platelets today...I believe to help his blood to clot.
Hope to able to see him tomorrow. If we can't go in, might just take the kids up to give him a wave through the window!!

hope ward is open to visitors tomorrow, at least hospital are taking precautions and not letting bug spread any further, can u not ring him at his bed, when i was in, you cud also use ur mobile, both you and kids cud chat that way, hope all goes well, take care viv
