Jumping ship from Facebook to Macmillan

Less than one minute read time.

Now made that decision to delete completely my facebook site and join Macmillan.My father died of lung cancer on March 21st 2011 and i now feel a connection to this site.

    I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Mine has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer so some day in the future I'm going to be where you are now. I hope you and your family are coping and getting through it one day at a time. Cancer is a very cruel disease. The others on here are right, you'll find lots of support on this site, all the best, Vicola

    Welcome to the Macmillan site. You will find all the support you need or want on here. The main thing is that you can talk to anyone on this site about anything, and it stays within the Mac Family.

    Welcome to the Mac family, you will get support on here, I was reluctant but now am on as often as i can, try stopping me!!  there is always support on here whatever your feelings..ups..downs everyone here is going through the same.

    sorry to hear about the loss of your father, I know what that is like, lost both my parents in Dec 2004.
