    i have been to see the specialist ,its early stage cancer type 1a,4.8 mm,its just in an awkward postion. the trachelectomy procedure,however after looking over my notes and speakin to the consultant who performed my knife cone biopsy"s,he has said this procedure is not suitable as the tumour is on the vaginal wall of the uterus higher up the cervix,so they cannot see whether any has entered the uterus.(i dont…

    hi everyone,

    i was diagnosed 10th may with cervical cancer,all this coming from my first smear test 2 days b4 my 25th birthday.

    abnormal cells (severe dyskaryosis) were found and i was sent for a colposcopy.here she found the area affected would be too painful,and too large for her to do minor biopsies,as it was on the vaginal wall,so i was sent for the lletz treatment under genereal anaesthetic.
