Good week

1 minute read time.
Had a good week this week, which was good because the time around new year always makes me reflective. It was my birthday on Thursday, and in the days running up I naturally thought about this time last year. I was moving into what I thought was the house of my dreams and 50 was going to be the start of a new life, things were going to change. Well its certainly changed but not in the way I thought it would, life is certaibky different and the dream house - well all I can say is its getting there. But I have been a work this week and have felt well, a little more tired in the evenings, sleeping a little later in the mornings and the housework has gone to pot, so has the ironing .. but who cares. I don't honest, I don't - OK I do a little. I now have a fear of unexpected visitors!! Thursday my sister and I had a girly day, we had lunch and gossiped and gossiped - we haven't done that for ages and it was such fun. I got beautiful flowers from my brother and some funky PJ's from my sister - which was good cos the others are in the ironing pile! Then in the evening I went out with my niece and nephews for dinner. No alcohol but I slept well that night. Today I have been out for a Christmas Lunch with the dog agility club - yes I know Christmas is over but we couldn't get booked in before - I was a bit nervous because I didn't know most of them. But we had the most racous time with lots of laughter and I'm so glad I went - good job we were in a seperate part of the pub. Fourth Epi next week then onto CMF, I only have to freeze my brain once more - yippeee. Best wishes to everyone Carol xx

Hi carolb  -  I enjoy your posts a lot and it's good to hear that you are feeling well and had as good a birthday as you were able to.  Being new here I am finding myself 'talking' to people on their blogs without the faintest notion of the nature of their particular struggles so I am going to make a firm committment to reading everyone's profile BEFORE I venture to reply in future.

Love your avatar by the way  -  it's a passion fruit flower isn't it??  As I sit here typing through my open window I can see about four passion fruit ripening on the vine that climbs around the deck.  Yum!!

    Cheers and regards,

    Renée

I am glad you are having a good week it dooes make you feel there will be life after this doesn't it ?.its hard to adjust to life with no energy and not doing the norm my poor dog never knows if she is gettin the long walk or the quick run round the field each day so she is adaptin as well. never mind the housework that will always be there take it easy with the work thing but its got to be good if it helps sleep cos i find that the hardest thing not sleeping thru the night [looks like we all have the typing error tick my brain doesn't seem to co ordinate with the keyboard] keep walki what sort of dog agility do u do ?
