  • Bubbles, puddles and work

    Well having been in bubble and perfume free land for what seems like forever, I took the plunge and had a bath - with bubbles!! Load of them - as I hit the water they flew up in the air.   I couldn't let Debs have all the fun with bubbles.  I did err on the side of caution and only had the water warm and I used a very sensitive bubble bath, but it was fantastic.

    When we were kids my Mum always put bubbles in the bath…

    I haven't blogged for ages, because by the time I get on here and starting reading, a few hours go by and - well thats it.  I'll do some back dated updates soon. Its hard to believe that I have passed one anniversay - the anniversary of my diagnosis and am now approaching the first anniversary of my op.  I don't know how I feel about that ... how odd.. part of me is relieved that the year is over, the treatment…

    Gordon the Rooster Trevor the farmer was in the fertilised egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets' and eight or ten roosters, to fertilise the pullets' eggs. Trevor kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into the soup pot and was replaced. That took an awful lot of his time so he bought a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone…
