It's a beautiful day

1 minute read time.

well, the sun is shining, clean white towels are blowing on the line, and I don't feel nearly as bad as I thought I was going to, praise God!

i am blessed. Mind you,  I'm still paranoid about every little ache and twinge, but I've managed to keep off a lot of the meds, and just take the minimum. Common sense, so far, is prevailing! Mostly! I am a bit obsessive with the thermometer!

actually feel well enough to try driving to my RT appt later. It will certainly be quicker than transport. I was so very grateful for it yesterday, I was exhausted all day. I wouldn't have managed that at all. But the lovely thing yesterday was the cheerful company of the other folks, the driver and the other lady in the car. Chatting with them Was such a lift to the heart, that made me feel better. So a big thanks and blessings to those who generously volunteer to drive folks to these appointments. Before all this, I was casting about for a voluntary job, and having some difficulty. Once all this is over, I think I have my vocation sorted!

My beautiful daughter has loaded my freezer with tasty, precooked morsels. I enjoyed a delicious fish pie last night. I'm sure this is all very boring, but such a privilege for me when I was too weary to bother! Again, I am well blessed!

Im even on 2 lots of antibiotics, so I haven't got to worry about my bowels! I'm just enjoying the day!

Im hoping I may be well enough to go to the Good Food Show at the NEC, but I have a feeling that the risk of infection may mean the Hairy Bikers and James Martin will not have the pleasure of my company, BOO! There's still Saturday Morning Kitchen. I shall now go and turn those old bananas into a couple of loaves.

So, for all you who are new to this, or newer than me, take heart. The fear and anticipation is worse than the reality. I know side effects will occur eventually, but so far so good. I'll meet them as they happen!

God IS good!
