In Limbo

Less than one minute read time.

How does one keep being positive when SO many things happen?  Things that aren't related, not health related, just life being crap?

Friends getting ill, ex-partner having a child that you can't ever have, losing your job, your own problems (!), protecting family?

My standard response is normally 'I'm fine thanks' or 'I'm good thanks' when people ask me.

I think my heart might be broken, it hurts so much.  Bubs will continue to be 'bubbly', but my heart hurts and I don't know even where to start to fix it.

OK madam, deep breath! go to room for a chat... maybe some of my peeps will be there!

Golly gosh, I wish I had the answer to your question. Apart from having had cancer and losing my dad to it a year ago, I have had so much s**t in my life it's unbelievable. Especially since my dad died.

I have decided to try (not easy!!!) not to let things bother me and look after myself first and foremost.

I hope things settle down for you. I'm lucky that I have some good friends who are willing to listen and let me offload, otherwise I don't know where I'd be.

    Take care, Christine xx

When people ask how I am, I tell them.  When they ask how my wife is............I tell them....... I don't spare any detail........just the facts.

I feel better for sharing my frustrations.

Christine, you remind me of how I feel, since grandad died last year I have felt really lost and things have just gone downhill since then, even things I was dealing with.

Thank-you for your message, I wish I could talk like you and Sandman do!

Hello bubs, hope the sun is shining for you this morning.  I just wanted to say I've felt like you many times but now come to the conclusion - Frank Sinatra used to say - That's Life.  We all have to try and find some little piece of happiness each and every day to keep us going.  You can only do one thing bubs, keep on going.  Ann x
