Fear is a normal reaction, we all get it. Keep logging on this site, talk to the Macmillan guys on the helplines and the fear will get easier with time. This site has helped all of us.

thank you all so much for the support.  Right now we are waiting for the oncologist to make an appointment and the unknown is very scary.  My husband has been through so much, he has COPD and was on a respirator in intensive care for three weeks but managed to come back from that better than ever.  He is a fighter but this one is tough.

    Hiya Bren

So sorry to hear your news - yes it is terrifying the unknown always is - but it does seem to get easier when you know all the facts

Try to be calm and support each other as best you can until you see the oncologist - at least then you will now how it is

    Hugs

Thanks Chris,  waiting is so hard.  We will take it one day at a time I guess.

My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on June 26th of this year.  Stage IV and he's only 33 years old.  He's been thru 6 rounds of chemo.  3 weeks on, then one week off.  Hang in there.  I'm gonna send you a buddy request.  I think we could vent to each other alot and compare what's going on.
