Hi everyone,
I just want to reach out to other people who may be experiencing the same or a similar situation as me. I feel so alone and scared! My boyfriend started having stomach pains a few months back and it got to the point where I had to call an ambulance as he was bent over sat on the edge of the bed. After about a month of scary scans we went to see his oncologist to discover he has stomach cancer that has spread to two other places. It is inoperable and they said he has approximately 4 months to live (this was a month a go). He decided to not have chemo as the oncologist advised it could make it impossible to recover from any surgery he may need due to obstructions. We are living together alone and he is getting worse quickly, his last scan showed 'rampant' growth. I am struggling so much with the fact he is going to die, the pain he is experiencing and the loss of his mobility. This morning he couldn't get out of bed due to having so much pain. Sorry this post is so long. I really need someone to talk to. I feel a bit of a burden to friends and family who I hear from every now and then but not very often. Also no one can begin to understand or know what to say. Its so hard to keep a brave face. Lots of love x
