This marathon training lark hurts

Less than one minute read time.

Did 8 miles on sat, felt tired but sooo much better than the 8 miles I did when first extending my runs. Nice to make progress but did need a nap after.

The only problem was the rushed choice of pants! Chafing? I'll say so! An obvious need to respect under garments. Even on the runs that aren't that long. Still, it's a lesson well learnt!

Couldn't face a run today, even with the absolutely beautiful weather, so did a bit of rebounding and rowing. Shorter run tom, 18 later in the week (I'll just say that I must be mad one more time).

    Hi Blissfit,

Get yourself a jar of Vaseline, and wack it on. Look after yourself.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xx

    Hi Blissfit

8 miles - wowowowowow!  Well done!!!!!!!!!

Personally I use only 'natural' material to avoid chafing: cotton, silk, etc.  I react to synthetics like a baby with a nappy rash!  As Sarsfield advised: vaseline usually does the trick - personally I use aquaous cream I was using during RT.

Wishing you all the very best
