Marathon training after breast cancer

Less than one minute read time.

Into double figures! Did 10 miles yesterday, last 3 miles were pretty tough and into a wind that threatened to halt my already slow pace. Lovely route, covering parks and river, which is a real treat but there is a great deal of gritting of teeth going on. What am I doing? Mad, mad, mad.

    Hi Bliss,

The way you are going I think you will make it. You are doing everything right, nice and slowly building up your stamina. No pain no gain. All the best and good luck.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xx

    Well done, Bliss fit!

Maybe you can consider running half marathon. Brighton one in 2 weeks time is a good, reasonably flat one to try and its atmosphere is amazing.

    Keep up the good work!
