My neck tension continues, but assured by the oncologist that it's not more sinister. Gotta work on relaxation!
Really disappointed that my reconstructive surgery planned for tomorrow has been moved to end April. But on a positive note it means no interruption to the marathon training.
16 miles yesterday, 2hrs 55. Ok for first 10, even the hilly bits in Richmond Park, but tried Lucozade sport drink and gels. Didn't make me feel sick but defo funny tummy. First time for both products (been making do with regular jelly beans so far) and tried Lucozade as it's available on the marathon route. Not sure if it was them or the step-up in distance that resulted in a bad stomach.
As always on my progressively longer runs the last couple of miles were grim, and I was hobbling around for a few hours (and more) after, but feel pretty good today. Plod on!
