Im really sorry that Steve has reached this stage in his journey with cancer. I hope that the time he has  is spent as painfree and comfortable as possible, and that you can treasure this time together even if it is spent just sitting quietly.

I know that watching someone that you love go through this is probably the hardest thing you will ever do, remember that we are here if you need to talk. Try to make sure that you make a little time  each day just for you, you need it.

Thinking of you both, I sincerely hope that you get to spend christmas together.
