    Hi all,

             Have been to have blood taken today so that my CA125 level can be checked for the first time since starting this round of chemo. Fingers crossed  it will have gone down. I have a spectacular bruise where the woman in the clinic literally slapped my arm to get the veins up and then stuck the needle in as if she was training for a darts match ! I know my veins are quite well hidden but she didn't have to slap them…

    Hi, I am new to the site and have been reading through the posts and finding amazing supportive people. I was diagnosed with stage 3/4 ovarian cancer in 2007. I had extensive surgery and 7 cycles of carbo/taxol. This was followed by 14 months remission but then I relapsed and had another 6 cycles of the above.
