My poor mum at the age of 54years old passed away on Thursday 25th June 2009 at 8.47pm.
Totally gutted and so lost right now, The chest infection came back and she just couldnt fight anymore.
She wanted to stay at home and we did what she asked, all the family were around her and she took her last breath as my dad kissed her and whisperd in her ear. All we can think is that she has no pain anymore!!!!!!!
But the worse thing is my sister is getting married in about 17days and shes gonna miss that but i no she will be watching and would of stayed longer if she could of but the pain was imense.
I have to say tho we feel very let down by our macmillian nurses and i hope i never have to deal with her again.

Oh becki, I am so, so sorry that your mum has gone. Please accept my sincerest condolences for you and your family. I lost my dear husband in March and the pain is still so very very raw. I am sure that your mum will as you say be watching over you all. I cannot offer anything else as it is too hard but I will remember you all in my prayers. x rest in peace becki's mum
never a day goes by when i don't think about my mum, she suffered a lot of pain too, but that was 22 years ago next week, you never forget but i hold my memories very near to my heart and you will too
