My poor mum at the age of 54years old passed away on Thursday 25th June 2009 at 8.47pm.
Totally gutted and so lost right now, The chest infection came back and she just couldnt fight anymore.
She wanted to stay at home and we did what she asked, all the family were around her and she took her last breath as my dad kissed her and whisperd in her ear. All we can think is that she has no pain anymore!!!!!!!
But the worse thing is my sister is getting married in about 17days and shes gonna miss that but i no she will be watching and would of stayed longer if she could of but the pain was imense.
I have to say tho we feel very let down by our macmillian nurses and i hope i never have to deal with her again.

So very sorry for your loss, your mum was so young and you must feel robbed, even though relieved that her pain is gone - you are always a child to your mum no matter your own age, she loves you unconditionally and I feel, will continue to do so whereever she is now. My husband is just starting his journey with cancer at 49 years of age (diagnosed 2 weeks ago), I can't imagine your pain right now, I can't imagine losing him so young as I'm sure you couldn't losing your mum - love and thoughts to you and yours. So sorry for your loss, my condolences to you & your family. I'm sure your Mum will be looking over you all especially at the wedding. We've had odd little things happen that makes me think that my husband Danny is with us sometimes which is very comforting.
I am so sad to hear that you mum passed away. My heart goes out to you all as I know you must have been very brave. I am not very good with words, but i just want you to know I am thinking of you.
