I have been to St Marys hospital today 21/7 to meet the surgeon who may do my opp if I have one! He obviously cant answer my questions until I have the results of my MRI scan

I had my scan at midday it was not as clostophobic as I thought it would be.

Now I have to wait until I get back from hols in 2 weeks for results. I have a provisional date for surgery 17/8. Never thought I would wish for a major opp but I do hope that is the outcome.

I feel very emotional and the more I read the worse I am but I cant stop gathering information

Hi Nuttal,

A bit of advice for what its worth. Never jump the gun.

Wait until you have had all your test results back before thinking the worst. Enjoy your Holiday, And dont look things up on the internet. You will get ten different answers to one question. Look after yourself.

Hi Nuttall

I think I gave you almost the same advice as Sarsfield on Chat recently. Go and enjoy your holiday and put everything else out of your mind.

Easier said than done maybe, but you owe it to yourself and your family to have a good time. Enjoy! Alcudia, wasn't it? I can guarantee you'll love the beach and the sea there. Shallow and warm. So relax in that lovely warm water watching the little fishes swim by and let your cares drift away.

I wish I was coming with you! Need anyone to carry your suitcases? :0)
