well folks my biopsy results are back, after cursing the nhs they turned up the next morning. As they thought i have a secondary seminoma in my lymph nodes in the pelvic region. They had me in the Beatson today in glasgow and once a bed becomes available they are going to start me on a regime of three drugs on a nine week cycle 5 days in hospital and two weeks at home. they told me it was BEP so all going well will start…

not the best of days its been 14 days since my biopsy. was told would have a result within 5-6 days, hadn't heard anything so i phoned my consultant to see what was happening. his secretary told me that my results were in the ward office where i was admitted 2 weeks ago. she then said i would get a letter when they decided to send the results to my consultant. thats not the best bit she then said don't worry 2 weeks…

they have found the mass, they have taken 11 biopsies so far. had me booked in to start chemo then they cancelled. hopefully i will find out in the next 2 days what the situation is. i am still trying to keep working while all this is going on. and the ct guided biopsy isn't a walk in the park.

well thats what i get, started to get cocky as my 5 years was due this august but looks like they have found a growth in one of my lymph nodes. went in for a routine scan for kidney stones and the saw my lymph node had grown and was pushing on my kidney. they took the usual round of bloods last night and now its wait and see what the panel says. probably a two week wait. my prayers are going out for everyone else.
