    So after months and months of research, bidding and testing I have finally Chosen the frame set and Wheels for my bike a long with some of the components.

    I decided that I am going to make a custom built especially for Ironman, there are plenty of great Triathlon bikes out to but ready made, but as I am a 'unusual' size ( short 174 cm ) but quite stocky it is very hard to find something that fits my personal bio-mechanics…

    Today I had a fairly short training session as outpaced myself! A lesson I am eager to learn now and not in the race! I went for what was supposed to be a 30k run, but had to stop after about 17k as my heart rate was alarmingly high as you can see below

    This is probably the second question that you may think ask.

    Macmillan is not only a great charity, and one that I regularly support anyway, but especially for me personally and for my Family.

    To give you a brief background without going into great detail; I have lost a few family members to cancer, which I'm sure that most of you sadly have too.When my Grandfather suffered from various cancers, he spent the last 18 months…
