Hope you are all well and looking forward to christmas.
Today I went to see my oncologist to talk about how I was after first cycle of FEC. Had blood taken in readiness for my second cycle on Friday, which may be postponed until after christmas now because my neutrofils are too low. Instead of being 1.5 or over they are only 0.6 and also I am anaemic so now on iron tablets. This might explain why the last couple of days I have dropped off to sleep very easy. Now I have to go on Friday morning to have another blood test to see if they are any better. It is strange because I feel so good and well, how do I know when my neutrofils are low? Part of me is hoping that they are higher so I can get another cycle over and done with but the other part wants it to be put off so that I can enjoy christmas without the side affects. How well all will be revealed on Friday.
