Hi all, hope you are all as well as can be. Well I did it last chemo yesterday all 8 achieved. Felt wierd though happy it was all over and at the same time sad. After spending the last 6 months going to the chemo suite and knowing that after yesterday I wouldn't have to go again felt like I was leaving friends behind. All the nurses and health care assisstants hugged me when I left and made me promise to go and see them to say hello. Had to get out there quick before the tears started lol. Start radio the 26th May my husbands birthday, got to have 20 sessions over 4 weeks. Then I suppose my tamoxifen will start, hope I can get help with hot sweats also they are doing my head in. Not sure if I need any scans nothing has been said about them. Can't believe that in November last year i was worried about starting chemo fear of the unknown and now that part of the journey is over it seems to have gone quick.
All the best to you all where ever you are in your treatment love and hugs Amanda xxx
