That's why my little girl loves me so much at the minute, I have something only I can give her - Mammy Juice! Boy does she love it. The little drunk faces when she has finished a feed are adorable. But I'm worried. Baby R threw in 2 extra feeds yesterday and overnight, and really doesn't seem to be getting enough. Is the stress of all this messing with my milk supply? Can I do anything? Or are we heading for bottleville sooner rather than later?

That would be typical, if I ended up with broken boobies too!

Ah well, will try to eat like a horse today, see if it helps ... good excuse as any to comfort eat.

That was one of my fav times with my 3 kids, breast feeding, i absolutely loved it.

Hope you mum is, i am sure she will be fine with your support.

Becca, I totally know what you're talking about - no-one, apart from us mums, will know that special time when we are able to feed our babies. However, unfortunately, if you are stressing about your mum, your baby will be affected because you are so closely linked - that's why she wants to feed more. She IS getting enough don't worry. Keep drinking lots of water and a good diet. When you go for her weigh I bet you will be surprised how much she has put ON! So, you two are sharing not only the best but the sadness too. That's life. Don't give up feeding unless you feel it would be best for you and don't feel guilty whatever decision you make. No-one loves your baby like you do but you have to keep yourself well in order to give baby the best. Remember, WATER, WATER for you NOT guinness as they prescribed in the old days and your milk will keep on coming. Today is the best day ever so do whatever you want and love your baby/family and mum.
