Dad had his mid chemo (3 months of chemo then a scan) today. The tumour has shrunk, by 25%, we are all so thrilled, the chemo is working. We now he will never be free of it, but its shrinking and that means that we have longer with him.

i am delighted to hear your good news. I recently lost my husband to pancreatic cancer before he got the chance to have any treatment so i am especially glad to hear your dad is responding so well. Long may this continue.
I know how devastating it is to see someone you love affected by this terrible thing and to hear some good news gives a positive feeling to all who take the time to read your blog.
So pleased to hear of your dad's good results. My mum has just completed her first three weeks of chemo. She is very tired but is hopeful that chemo will make a difference. Reading of results like yours boosts her morale. Hope everything continues to go well for your dad.
