A quick update.
I know you want the important results first. The race was won by My Medical Record. It pinged with PSA result sometime overnight so well within 24 hours of the test. The NHS app hasn’t uploaded the PSA result yet. Could be waiting for the other test results and the GP to review them all before releasing them to me. So next post I will add the time difference between getting them.
The dentist did text unfortunately need to book an appointment in the next three months for my annual checkup. More routine maintenance.
Now onto the PSA result. Well I was hoping to have a new value to analyse my initial PSA velocity (PSAV) and PSA Doubling Time (PSADT = (time interval) × ln(2) / ln(PSA_final / PSA_initial) and share the spreadsheet and maths, unfortunately not. Yesterday’s result was a drop (13.2 to 10.5), so the maths gives a negative velocity and a negative doubling time (we will call half-life). Hence the title waiting is working.
On a not so serious level I live in a high radon area so maybe I get some natural RT for free. If the PSA half life stays the same my PSA will be under 5 by March 2027. I do have a radon pipe in the garden maybe I should drag a chair out and sit on top of it for 30mins a day. Radon half-life is just less than four days. A new treatment option: move to Cornwall for uranium therapy. 
For anyone reading who’s less at ease with the waiting, remember: PSA can wobble down as well as up. Keep logging, keep living. I love my walks with the dog, training runs, family time, coding web apps and much more. The numbers moved south this time; that’s something to celebrate today. Not to worry or think about until next time. AS is to get on with life without cancer or its side effects invading each day. Be strong, be happy, being on active surveillance is a gift of time.

λ Is the decay constant.
t is the number of days between tests.
Projected PSA = current PSA × e^(-λ × t)
So for May’s result 10.5 × e^(-0.001387 × 61)
≈ 9.65
Waiting is working for now…the May with PSA half-life the result could be less than 10 (CPG3 drop down to GPG2)? Possibly not, but we will see you then.
