    Decided to postpone the Christmas Eve appointment, took the view as the biopsy results were good there was not an urgent need for the consultation and it could wait till New Year. Went back this week and saw the Consultant. As expected, they want to remove the radial scar. Have a date for the Op, 23rd Jan, day case, general anaesthetic.     Went back to the hospital today, the good news is I don't have BC. What I do have is a radial scar, I have an appointment with a specialist on Christmas Eve. Interesting reading on radial scars, can be caused by inflammation so still wondering if my theory could be correct. Read that some can just go away, like a bruise? Others can harbour hide cancerous cells so fully expecting to be offered an operation at the consultation…

    I get my results tomorrow. My brother is coming to the hospital with me, he was so good about it when I told him what was going on. After the biopsy I was very shaken up but as the days go by, my previous positive attitude has returned. My research has taken me to a condition known as fat necrosis.
