Decided to postpone the Christmas Eve appointment, took the view as the biopsy results were good there was not an urgent need for the consultation and it could wait till New Year. Went back this week and saw the Consultant. As expected, they want to remove the radial scar. Have a date for the Op, 23rd Jan, day case, general anaesthetic. Haven't had an Op since I was a child so bit anxious. I hope the recovery is as quick as they say, a few days.then the wait starts again for confirmation that the biopsy results were correct.
